Officials say a body discovered Monday in a northwestern Minnesota cornfield is that of a missing 60-year-old woman.
According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, Beth Super was last seen late Saturday morning, September 16th, leaving her home in Flensburg in central Minnesota. She was traveling to a home in Todd County, but never arrived.
Super’s vehicle, a 2014 Ford Focus, was found abandoned Sunday at an intersection in rural Nielsville, about 30 miles southeast of Grand Forks. Her body was discovered in a cornfield in the “general area” of the vehicle.
The University of North Dakota School of Medicine Forensic Pathology identified the body Tuesday as belonging to Beth Super.
The investigation is ongoing, but authorities say foul play is not suspected.
