Friday, June 10th at 1:56 pm, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident on Co Rd 22 near W Lake Louise. A 911 caller reported a single vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over into Lake Louise. The caller initially reported there were two occupants inside, and the vehicle was upside down in the water. The two occupants, Barbara Nordstog, age 66 and Steven Nordstog, age 69 of Thompson, North Dakota, were able to get out of the vehicle on their own, and were assisted up the embankment by witness’s. They were transported to Alomere Health in Alexandria for minor injuries. The accident is under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting on scene were North Memorial Ambulance, Alexandria Police Department, MN State Patrol, and Garfield Fire Department.
