A tragic and fatal accident happened at 3M in Alexandria early yesterday morning. A man was caught in a machine and died. No name has been released. 3M from St. Paul released this statement, “ We are deeply saddened to confirm that one of our employees has died overnight at the plant. We are reaching out to the employee’s family to offer support, and our thoughts are with the employee’s family and friends.”
3M said it followed emergency protocols upon learning of the incident and contacted police and fire officials as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
