MN Nurses Vote Overwhelmingly to Go On Strike

The Minnesota Nurses Association voted on Monday August 15th, and more than 15,000 nurses across Minnesota are prepared to go on strike. Member nurses voted “overwhelmingly” to authorize a strike, meeting the required two-thirds supermajority. chronic staffing shortages endanger patient safety and put Minnesota on the verge of a health crisis with nurses leaving the bedside.
