Alexandria Technical & Community College has earned a $2,000 Sport Opportunity Grant from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Foundation to support the addition of its Legends Soccer program.
Alexandria College will have its inaugural Men’s and Women’s Soccer season this fall and is still recruiting for its first teams. The Legends Soccer program is headed by Coach Tom Roos.
“With support from the NJCAA, Alexandria College will continue to expand its career and personal growth opportunities for students,” said Alexandria College President Michael Seymour. “The addition of athletics programs has created a renewed excitement for the College, and soccer has especially generated interest from a broad diversity of students.”
