The Minnesota State Patrol says one person is injured following a crash Wednesday morning in Pope County. According to Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place on Highway 114 at Highway 55 near Lowry. A Ford Focus, driven by Philip Hott, 27, of Glenwood, and a Chevy Silverado, driven by Erin Westhoff, 29, of Detroit Lakes, were both traveling eastbound on Highway 55 when the two vehicles collided. Neither driver was injured. However, a passenger in the Silverado, David Samuelson, 74, of Detroit Lakes, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital in Glenwood.
The crash remains under investigation.
