Parkers Prairie Man Dies After Being Trampled By Livestock

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office believes a Parkers Prairie man died after he was trampled by a bull or cows on his farm over the weekend. Deputies found the body of 41-year-old Craig Allen Thoennes’ on Saturday near a shed in the cow yard where two cows and a bull were roaming free there and in the yard. The body was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Anoka County for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Sheriff Troy Wolberson said that at this time it appears that Thoennes had been trampled by the bull and or cows.
