In February 2020, Laurie received devastating news that she had brain cancer. She was just weeks away from retirement. Now, brain cancer survivor, Laurie is cancer free but left with very limited mobility. A benefit is being held in her honor so that she can have her lifelong dream! After dedicating her life to others, the community is now wrapping their arms around this incredible woman. Special guests, Nicole her daughter, and family friend Amy Foxx, from KIK-FM.
