A 50-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a snowmobile crash in Wadena County Friday afternoon.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a crash on a trail in Red Eye Township at around 2:45 p.m. At the trail, emergency responders found a 50-year-old man from Menahga lying on the ground next to his snowmobile.
The man said he had been turning a corner when he hit a tree head on. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
