Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has withdrawn from the remainder of the team competition because of an apparent medical issue.

It’s unclear what the medical issue is, but Team USA released a statement adding that she will be assessed daily to determine whether she can compete in future individual competitions. Biles competed in her first rotation on vault, but received a low score and was then seen walking off the floor with a trainer. She was then replaced by teammate Jordan Chiles on the uneven bars for the team’s second rotation. (CBS Sports)
