Threats at Brandon Evansville School

BE-news-320x180-1

On March 28, 2023, at approximately 8:35 am, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Brandon Public School regarding threatening comments made by a student.  According to the DCSO press release, the student was told to go to the Principals Office.  The student did not go to the Principals Office and left the building.  Because of the comments, both the Brandon School and Evansville School locked down the schools.

Douglas County Deputies responded to both schools and the student was located in a vehicle near the Brandon School.  The student was arrested and transported to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.  NO WEAPONS were found on the student or in the students vehicle.  The student will be held for court on Terroristic Threats.

Here is a message that was released by the BE Superintendent, Louisa Glenetske.
