This Wayne Brady Cover is a Real Thriller

I’m sure that by now, you’ve got your Halloween costume all figured out. But what about the soundtrack? The Monster Mash. Ghostbusters. This Is Halloween. The Time Warp. Don’t Fear the Reaper.  Werewolves of London.  Is it even Halloween without these songs?  If you spent an entire Halloween without hearing Thriller – would it even be Halloween?  It certainly wouldn’t be the same.

Here’s a fun video to help celebrate the season – a little 1930’s style cover of Thriller brought to you by Postmodern Jukebox featuring Wayne Brady.  It kicks off with a little Cab Calloway tribute and then there’s tap dancing ghouls who bring both the Charleston and some choreography from the original video.  And of course, there’s some really great singing.  I’m not going to say that it’s better than the original, but it is right up there.  Enjoy!

Here’s the original, just for good measure:

What are your favorite Halloween songs?

And whatever your Halloween plans, we wish you a thriller!
