Two boating accidents occurred over the weekend. On Friday August 18th, just before 11am two boats collided on Lake Miltona. Both boaters, Jared Schiller of Clements MN and James Stewart of Minocqua WI were treated for minor injuries after being able to drive back to the landing.
The same time that day, a boat on Long Lake crashed into a sandbar, causing a passenger to be thrown forward hitting his head. Jonathan Abrahamson of Villard was rushed to shore and treated.
