Two in the Hospital After Crash In Alexandria

car-crash

Two people are in the hospital after a three vehicle crash on Monday Dec 5th around 7:40 am. Icy roads were a factor in the crash. Leah Corneliussen, of Alexandria, and owner of Inspire Nutrition, was pregnant and rushed to hospital for an emergency C section.

The baby was delivered safely, mom reported on Facebook, “(born at just 29 weeks) He unfortunately could not stay here in Alexandria and was transported to the NICU in St.Cloud where he will likely stay until February. He is stable and so tiny 💚 Happy Birthday baby, we love you!!

Thank you to our customers for your understanding and patience as we figure out what life looks like ahead. I won’t be responding to too many messages and I need rest but please pray for our family 🙏🏻 We have a long road ahead of us. So many of you have asked how you can help and the best way to help us is in prayer, sending food to the house for the boys and any venmo payments or donations to our GoFundMe page to help covered expenses ❤‍🩹🙏🏻
Thank you all, we are blessed everyone made it out alive. Thank you Alex PD, Ambulance crew and the hospital staff.”

A family friend created a GoFundMe account to help support the family.
