Two people are injured following a crash on Monday morning in Douglas County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place on Hwy. 29 at Pike Rd in Carlos Township. A van driven by Mark Pierce, 62, of Parkers Prairie, collided with a truck making a left hand turn at an intersection driven by Corey Hicks, 51, of Alexandria. Hicks was not injured. Pierce along with a passenger both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at Alomere Health.
