An update on the fatal workplace accident at 3M in Alexandria early Monday morning. At 3:44 am a man was caught in a machine and died. It’s been reported all emergency protocol was followed to immediately respond including on site trained first responders. Local police and fire departments and OSHA were notified. The plant was closed yesterday. MN OSHA is trying to determine how the employee got trapped in the machine and continues to investigate. No name has been released.
