Vehicle Flips Five Times in Alcohol Related Crash Injuring One

On February 19th, 2022 at approximately 10:52 pm , Swift County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a 911 call of a one vehicle roll-over with a person ejected near the intersection of Co RD 26 and 105th Ave NE, near Swift Falls. The vehicle had been traveling north on Co Rd 26, when it lost control navigating a curve and entered the north ditch causing the vehicle to roll, it appeared the vehicle rolled approximately five times before coming to a rest on its roof. The driver, Kayla Oleary, 21 of Sunburg was ejected from the vehicle. Oleary was transported from the scene by LifeLink helicopter to St. Cloud hospital with unknown injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to Swift County/Benson Health services with unknown injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Emergency Agencies that responded to the scene were- Swift County Sheriff’s Office, Benson Police Department, Centra Care EMS, Benson Fire Department, County Line first responders and Lifelink III.
The crash is still under investigation by the Swift County Sheriff’s Office.
