A local woman who’s life was taken will be remembered for her dedication to her community as a nurse, teacher and lover of animals. The funeral for Vickie O’Brien will take place today in Glenwood. O’Brien’s death was ruled a homicide. She and her husband, formerly of the Alexandria, were discovered on June 26th the results according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office were a murder suicide.
